DACULA, Ga. – Hebron Christian Academy’s Biblical Worldview Council is excited to announce a Culture Speaker Series for the 2023-24 school year, giving HCA parents and community members the opportunity to hear four Christian leaders provide a biblical perspective on important cultural issues.
With increasingly secular worldviews bombarding our youth today, HCA's Biblical Worldview Council exists to provide opportunities and resources to help support students and families. The night before these four Christian leaders speak to HCA students in Upper School Chapel, hear them provide biblical insight and practical tools to face cultural issues with confidence.
The Wednesday evening speaker series begins at 6:30 p.m. and will take place in the Hebron Theatre on the campus of HCA.

Dr. Aaron Howard currently serves as Assistant Professor of Ethics, Worship, and Reconciliation at Lipscomb University where he teaches undergraduate and graduate classes and organized the first university gospel choir. He also serves as CEO of As One Christian Consulting, an agency that inspires Christian organizations to better image the kingdom of God by pursuing biblical unity. He holds a PhD in Ethics and Society from Vanderbilt University, an MA in Theology, Biblical Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary, an MA in Counseling from San Diego State University, and a BA from UCLA in Anthropology. As a former high school Bible instructor at a Christian school in Nashville, he is a fierce proponent of Christian education and its pivotal role in preparing youth for faithful engagement in our wider society. He has been married to his wife, Mimi, for 24 years and has two children, Yosef and Blaine.
Trey Lewis, founder and CEO of Good Landing, was delivered from addiction in 2005 and was immediately filled with a passionate calling to tell everyone about the transforming power and love that is found only in Christ. It was in his first year of law school that Trey realized God was setting him on a path to fulfill a dream in his heart to open an inpatient residential treatment facility that would transform the lives of men who were hurting and lost to their addiction to drugs and alcohol. Trey has traveled the country while preaching the gospel, leading outreach initiatives, and inspiring thousands of people across America.
Dr. Christopher Yuan is a highly sought-after expert whose book, Holy Sexuality and the Gospel, was named 2020 book of the year for social issues by Outreach Magazine. As more confusion abounds on sexuality and gender, Dr. Christopher Yuan powerfully articulates that God's truth is crystal clear and not gray. Through the narrative of his personal transformation from an agnostic gay man to a Bible professor and through his graduate level education in biblical languages, theology, and even health sciences, Dr. Yuan casts a compelling vision of not identifying with our sexuality but embracing Christ and a biblical standard of holy sexuality.
