DACULA, Ga. – Hebron Christian Academy Head of School Dr. James Taylor is pleased to announce the appointment of Greg Knedler as the new Director of Development, bringing more than 25 years of experience in advancement, fundraising, and strategic development leadership to the Hebron community.

Knedler most recently served as Vice President at the Annual Giving Network, where he worked nationally with hundreds of colleges and universities to strengthen alumni engagement and annual giving strategies through data-driven decision-making and donor pipeline development. Prior to that role, he served as Associate Vice Chancellor for Development at Troy University, where he helped lead fundraising efforts, revitalized foundation board engagement, and expanded major gift and scholarship stewardship initiatives.

Throughout his career, Knedler has built a strong reputation for cultivating meaningful relationships, leading high-performing development teams, and aligning philanthropic efforts with institutional missions. His experience spans higher education and nonprofit advancement, with a strong emphasis on sustainable growth, donor stewardship, and mission-driven fundraising.

“Greg’s vast experience in advancement, his love for the Lord, and his passion for Christian education make him an outstanding addition to Hebron Christian Academy,” said HCA Head of School Dr. James Taylor. “We are excited about the leadership and vision he brings, and we are confident God will use Greg to help further the mission of our school. As we look ahead, Hebron continues to grow in both opportunity and calling, and Greg’s leadership will be instrumental as we steward the generosity of our community to strengthen programs, expand spaces, and continue to follow the Lord’s leading for our school.”

Knedler also previously served in senior advancement roles at the Air Force Academy Foundation, Georgia State University, and Auburn University, and he began his career as a high school marketing teacher and Christian camp counselor.

“My family and I are so blessed to have the opportunity to join such an amazing culture at Hebron Christian Academy,” said Knedler. “God is clearly at work here, changing lives, and Christ is at the center of everything we do. I am eager to see what God has in store for HCA in the coming years as we continue to focus on His purposes and the opportunities He provides to serve and minister to our students and the community.”

Knedler holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Marketing) and a Master of Education from Auburn University. He and his wife, Christine, have been married for 29 years and are the parents of five children. Their youngest son, Jake, enrolled at HCA as a seventh grader this week.
