The beautiful secret about HCA's partnership with our families is that it goes beyond academic excellence to boldly pursue an eternal purpose for our students! We enjoy the privilege of linking arms together – school and home – to “train up a child in the way they should go, and when they are old they will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6).
We are so excited to watch how the Lord is working on our campus, and as a reflection of this work we are eager to introduce a new mission partnership with World Vision. It is our prayer that this partnership will impact every single student on our campus for their whole life. We know this is a big statement, but here is how we plan to shape this impact with your help.
As a component of every Bible class from K4 through 12th grade, we will be adding a mission curriculum provided by World Vision. This curriculum emphasizes our personal responsibility in the active engagement of the Great Commission to go into all the world and proclaim the gospel. We are going to adopt a region in Honduras where our school family will reach into the lives of boys and girls living in poverty who need basic provisions for life, but who also need to know Jesus and the power of His Word.
Imagine the impact our school family can have on this community, and imagine the impact this community will have on our school family. We envision a classroom where the Bible curriculum lives in an even more powerful way because every student is committed to a World Vision sponsor child in need.
