HCA Changes Homecoming Week Schedule Due to Hurricane Ian

DACULA, Ga. – Due to potential severe weather from Hurricane Ian on Friday, Hebron Christian Academy has announced necessary changes to homecoming festivities this week, including moving the football game against Oconee County High School to Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

With the homecoming football game moved to Thursday, Sept. 29, below is a series of events that have also been adjusted to accommodate the game. 

Volleyball Games
The volleyball matches on Thursday have been moved up, with the Lions playing Mill Creek High School at 4 p.m. and Dacula High School at 5 p.m., followed by Senior Night recognition at the conclusion of the second match at approximately 6 p.m.

Pep Rally / Homecoming Parade
Friday’s pep rally and homecoming parade have been postponed and rescheduled for Friday, Oct. 28 in conjunction with football Senior Night against Hart County High School.

Paint the Gym
Paint the Gym, which was originally scheduled for Thursday, has been moved up to Wednesday from 6:30 - 10:30 p.m. in Lions Arena.

Theme Days
Dress-up theme days remain the same for the week, and class games and powderpuff football will stay at their originally scheduled times. 

Ticket Information
Fans who purchase tickets to Thursday’s volleyball matches will also receive entry to the football game at Burlingame Field. To purchase tickets to volleyball and football, click here

Wednesday, Sept. 28
6:30 - 10:30 p.m. – Paint the Gym in Lions Arena

Thursday, Sept. 29
4 p.m. – Volleyball vs. Mill Creek HS
5 p.m. – Volleyball vs. Dacula HS
6 p.m. – Volleyball Senior Night following second match
7:30 p.m. – Football vs. Oconee County HS
8:30 p.m. – Homecoming Court Presentation (Football halftime)
