HCA Announces 2025-26 Sutton-Klempner Teacher of the Year Recipients

DACULA, GA – Hebron Christian Academy is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025-26 Sutton-Klempner Teacher of the Year Award, an honor recognizing educators who exemplify excellence in teaching, Christ-centered leadership, and a deep commitment to students.

Named after Lizzy Sutton and Terry Klempner, two esteemed educators who collectively have dedicated nearly a century of service to education, the Sutton-Klempner Teacher of the Year Award celebrates faculty members who inspire academic achievement, foster meaningful relationships, and embody servant leadership within the Hebron community.

HCA is honored to recognize the following recipients for the 2025-26 school year:

Lower School: Mrs. Beth Martin

Mrs. Beth Martin has quickly become a beloved member of the Hebron faculty through her joyful spirit, intentional leadership, and deep love for students. As a K4 teacher, she creates a classroom environment where learning is engaging, students feel genuinely cared for, and every child is supported academically and emotionally. In addition to faithfully leading her classroom, Beth has embraced leadership opportunities across campus, including revitalizing the morning announcements club with enthusiasm and meaningful student involvement. Her coworkers, students, and families consistently experience her Christlike patience, kindness, humility, and servant-hearted approach to teaching.

Middle School: Ms. Timi Higgins

For more than two decades, Ms. Timi Higgins has faithfully served the Hebron community through her leadership, wisdom, and devotion to Christ. As an 8th grade Bible teacher and grade-level lead, she creates a classroom environment where students are encouraged to grow academically, spiritually, and personally. Timi is known for her steady leadership, compassionate guidance, and willingness to support both students and colleagues in meaningful ways. Her love for Jesus is evident in every aspect of her work, and her lasting impact continues to shape the lives of students long after they leave her classroom.

High School: Mrs. Stacey Warbington

Mrs. Stacey Warbington has been a treasured member of the Hebron faculty for nine years, inspiring students through her passion for literature, commitment to excellence, and Christ-centered approach to teaching. Whether teaching middle school or advanced high school courses, Stacey challenges students to think deeply, engage meaningfully, and pursue their full academic potential while ensuring they feel known and supported. Widely respected for her wisdom, encouragement, and genuine care for others, she consistently models faith, excellence, and servant leadership in both the classroom and the broader school community.
