DACULA, Ga.- The Hebron Flag Football Team won their first two games of the season against Fredrick Douglass 35-0 and Dacula 19-0 on Wednesday night at Burlingame Field.
In their first game against Fredrick Douglass, the Lions scored 35 points with scores from Amiya Porter, Alana Beckham, and JaKerra Butler. Quarterback Mia James had three carries for 30 yards in the game. Defensively, the Lions were led by Sophia Rhodes and Camryn Long, who tallied three tackles each.
Against Dacula, Porter added another score to her resume for the night and Aubrey Beckham scored off a pass from James. James had 45 rushing yards on the night while Porter averages 38 yards per game. The Lions move to 2-0 on the season.
Up Next: Hebron will play Star's Mill and M.L. King on Thursday, Oct. 12 at Burlingame Field.
