At HCA, we do more than prepare our students for college and careers. We also find ways to prepare them for life – teaching them lessons that help them grow up to be the men and women God created them to be. One way we are doing this is our Healthy Citizenship Program, which is designed to instill responsibility in our middle-school students through the “5 Pillars of a Good Citizen.” Students came up with ways they could show kindness throughout the school year, and then put their pledges into action. Each month, 6th–8th-grade teachers select a boy and girl from each grade who are demonstrating good citizenship to receive a Citizenship Award and have their pictures featured on our HCP display. #kindnesspledge#HealthyCitizenshipProgram
