Studio Art

Resource

We believe in developing the creative gifts God has given our students and providing opportunities for them to flourish. The studio art program at Hebron Christian Academy is designed to ensure students have a variety of experiences for imagining, exploring, and creating visual art.

Art classes challenge students at every level and include not only an emphasis on developing skills and knowledge but also creative thinking. Art history, technical skills, collaboration, and cross-curricular activities, as well as arts-related service projects through our club chapter of the National Art Honor Society, are important components of our visual arts program.

It has been proven that involvement and experiences in arts education increases student performance in other academic areas. Teaching young people to “think outside the box” can extend their success beyond an art class and into their future beyond high school.

For more information about our studio art program, please contact Laura Rice.
