Middle School

Welcome to Hebron Christian Academy! I am excited to serve as our Head of Upper School and Associate Head of School, which means I oversee all programs for 6th - 12th grade students with both of our Principals. Our mission at HCA is to provide a Christ-centered learning community that challenges all students to realize their greatest potential for transforming their world and impacting their culture.

We are thankful for the privilege to provide students with a Christian environment as we strive to integrate our faith in all we do. We challenge students to pursue excellence in academics, athletics, and the arts, as they discover and develop the gifts and talents God has uniquely provided each of them. More importantly, we challenge students to uncover and pursue God’s plan for their life, because we believe He has designed each of us to play a role in furthering His kingdom. We love the opportunity to play a small role in that discovery for our students!

Welcome to Middle School at Hebron! Along with Dr. Annett, our Head of Upper School and Associate Head of School, I have the distinct privilege of serving as the Middle School Principal. Our Middle School program is uniquely designed to engage students in all areas as they grow and develop into independent learners, strong leaders and caring friends while they navigate these three years. 

The academic programs are intended to be rigorous while also ensuring our students are being taught foundational and biblical truths to help shape their worldviews as they develop into young adults. We offer various honors and accelerated courses in a number of subjects to help differentiate our instruction to provide the best learning experience for every student. Spiritually, we partner with parents and church to continue to solidify the foundation of a biblical worldview in our students’ minds and hearts. Through Chapel, Cohorts, Checkpoints, Bible Classes and other intentional growth opportunities, our students will be challenged to grow in their faith and lead others to do the same. 

One of the statistics that I am most proud of in our middle school is that over 90% of our students are involved in some activity outside of the classroom. Our Middle School athletic programs field 25 teams during the school year, and students interested in the Arts have the opportunity to participate in drama, band, chorus, art, and graphic design. We also offer a variety of clubs where students can pursue their interests and passions.

We are truly excited about all that the Lord is doing in our Middle School at HCA! We hope these three years provide the opportunity for our students to grow academically, spiritually, socially, and physically as they prepare for the next four years in High School.
