Hebron christian academy's strategic plan | 2024 - 2030

In developing our strategic plan, I am humbly aware of the words of John 15:5, “I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” We can do nothing unless Christ is firmly at the center of our school. The preparation of this institutional roadmap for the years ahead is intended to be an exercise in submission. We affirm that God directs all of our steps, but we must also make the decision to boldly “go” where He directs. Our goal at HCA is to actively listen, quickly see, and boldly respond to the Lord’s direction in our midst. So while our Strategic Plan for 2024-2030 is a roadmap to the future, we fully acknowledge that we follow God’s direction in His perfect timing for every academic initiative and new project.

At Hebron Christian Academy, we stand in awe of God’s continual provision and direction. Since the inception of HCA in 1999, we have marveled at the countless ways God has increased the impact of our school on our region both academically and spiritually. These past few years have been no exception with myriad fulfilled dreams and extraordinary blessings. As we continue to seek God’s direction for our school, we affirm these historical blessings, and eagerly anticipate His path for our future.

As part of the strategic planning process, our board, administration, teachers, parents, students, graduates, and even local business leaders shared their HCA stories and dreams through numerous focus groups, many surveys, multiple listening sessions, and purpose-driven meetings designed to ask bold spiritual questions about our next steps. These stories were vital in the preparation of this document.

This strategic plan provides a roadmap to guide Hebron Christian Academy toward a bright future by ensuring Christ remains at the center. The HCA Strategic Plan draws attention to, and focuses on, our three Strategic Pillars of Impact: Transforming Hearts (focused personal and corporate faith), Equipping Minds (comprehensive academic excellence and the campus expansion necessary to meet needs), and Impacting Culture (intentional student leadership and community engagement).

We eagerly anticipate remarkable years ahead as Hebron Christian Academy courageously insists on Christ as our Center.
