  • HCA Kindergarten and 1st Graders Enjoy 'Dot Day'

    At first, a dot may seem small and insignificant. On “Dot Day,” our kindergarten and 1st-grade art students learned how much creativity can come from a simple dot. The children enjoyed singing “The Dot Song” and making dots with a variety of mediums. The lesson is based on The Dot Story by Peter H. Reynolds, which is about making a difference by “making a mark.” Sometimes being creative starts with simply making a mark and seeing where it takes you. You can see some of the artwork on display in the elementary lobby. #dotday #thedot
