Nancy Easterling is a graduate of the University of Georgia where she earned her bachelors degree in just 3 years. She is a Senior Vice President at Bank of America and is the Channel Integration & Business Development Executive in the Home Loans division. Her team is responsible for developing national and local strategies to maximize home ownership opportunities through the organization’s largest distribution network. Nancy serves on multiple Boards, committees, and ministries. She has been recognized and honored as an “Outstanding Atlanta” award recipient for her leadership and achievements in both business and community service. Nancy and her husband, Jim, have been married for 17 years and their two daughters, Morgan and Maddie, are students at HCA. The Easterling family worship and serve in various capacities at Hebron Church.
Mike Smith is a 1989 graduate of the University of Georgia with a bachelor's degree in economic geography, and a 1992 graduate of Georgia State University College of Law, earning a Juris Doctorate. He is in private practice with the law firm of Andrew, Merritt, Reilly & Smith, L.L.P., where he leads the probate and estate work group. Mike has also served as the County Administrator for the Probate Court of Gwinnett County since 1994, and serves in an advisory capacity for several boards and committees. Mike is a lifelong Dacula resident. He has been married to the former Jennifer Cheek for 15 years. Mike and Jennifer have three children, Austin, Landon and Morgan. Austin and Landon are HCA students, and Morgan is a preschooler. Mike, Jennifer and family worship and serve at Hebron Baptist Church.
Otis Jones is President/CEO of The Farris Foundation, Inc., a non-profit charitable ministry located in Lawrenceville. Prior to starting the Farris Foundation in 1995, Otis worked for several hi-tech companies in the Atlanta area. He also served in various management positions during his 16+ years of service with the IBM Corporation prior to joining the Quadram Corporation. Otis is a 1988 graduate of Leadership Gwinnett and is currently serving as Board Chairman of Jackson Electric Membership Corporation, the second largest rural electric cooperative in the nation. He is a charter member and past President of the Rotary Club of Lawrenceville. He serves on the Boards of multiple organizations. He is also a Trustee of the Education Commission of the Georgia Baptist Convention and President of the Quadram Christian Foundation. Otis served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1966-1972. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Jacksonville State University in 1966 where he met his wife, Sandra. They were married in 1966 and presently reside in Lawrenceville. He and Sandra are active members of Hebron Baptist Church. They have two married daughters and seven grandchildren.
David Baker is the Administrative Pastor of Hebron Baptist Church. He is married to Carol Baker; they have been married for 21 years. Carol serves as the Missionary Connections Coordinator with the North American Mission Board. Prior to coming to Hebron, David was a practicing attorney and before that, he served on staff of several churches including six years as pastor. David has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mercer University, a Master of Divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Juris Doctor degree from Regent University School of Law. He is a member of the Georgia and Virginia Bar.
Shawn Smith and his wife Valerie have been married for 17 years and have two children, Hunter, 8, and Morgan, 5. The couple met at Evangel University in Springfield, MO where Shawn graduated with a degree in business management in 1991. They have lived in the Dacula area since 1996, absent two years spent in New York from 1998-2000, when Shawn was employed with Forest Laboratories, Inc. as a District Sales Manager. After several years in pharmaceutical sales and management, Shawn and Valerie opened a corporate catering business in 2004. Shawn recently re-entered the corporate world where he is currently employed with Baxter Healthcare. They attend Hebron Baptist Church where Valerie plays in the Orchestra and Shawn teaches a couples’ Sunday school class.
Beth Adams and her husband, Ken, have been married for 17 years. They have two children, Hayden and Hannah Grace, who have attended HCA since kindergarten. They are members of Hebron Church and have served in various leadership positions since 1994. Beth attended Clayton State College and University and MLS Real Estate Academy. She was employed by a national real estate firm in advertising and marketing before launching a successful career in real estate sales. Beth also worked as a financial director providing local companies assistance in the areas of strategy, management and business development. In 2001, she accepted the role of Hebron Weekday Preschool Director. The preschool program has become one of the largest in the Gwinnett area and is widely recognized for academic achievement in a Christ-centered environment.
Brian Klaubert is a 1983 graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts, with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, is a licensed Professional Engineer, and has been awarded four U.S. Patents. Brian and his wife Nola have been married for 23 years. They have two daughters, Allie and Nicky, who have attended HCA since 2002. Brian worked for Kimberly-Clark Corp for 19 years in a variety of engineering design, development, and project management roles. In 2002 Brian and Nola moved to Dacula to open Christian Brothers Automotive, an award winning automotive repair shop near Hamilton Mill. They now own a second shop in Suwanee. Brian is on the board of directors of StreetWise Georgia ministries, and the industry advisory board for Gwinnett Technical College. The Klaubert family are all members of Hebron Baptist Church, and serve in various capacities there.
Roger Willis is a 1970 graduate of Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Science degree, in the school of Urban Administration. He is the Gwinnett District Manager for Jackson EMC and is very involved in many Gwinnett Organizations and served as a Trustee on the Shorter College Board. He and his wife Judy have been members of Hebron Baptist Church where he has taught an adult Sunday school class for over 23 years and also serves on the Hebron Finance team. He and Judy have lived in Gwinnett County for 31 years and have two children and five grandchildren, three of which attend HCA.
