Hebron Christian Academy - School Counseling

As school counselors at Hebron Christian Academy, we believe in utilizing a holistic approach when working with students that addresses their needs academically, personally, socially and spiritually in order to maximize their potential for growth through our developmentally-driven, comprehensive counseling program.

Our program emphasizes the importance of positive character development and maintaining a healthy school climate in which every student feels safe and supported. Through partnering with teachers, administrators, parents and our local community, we strive to help all students achieve academic excellence, personal success and the ability to become exemplary leaders.

Meet the Counselors:

  • Kierra Culpeper: Director of Student Support Services
Ms. Culpeper recently moved here from Virginia. While in Virginia, she attended George Mason University as an Undergraduate, and Liberty University as a Graduate student. She has over 12 years of experience in the mental health field, and has worked extensively with youth in grades K-12 and their families throughout her career in various capacities. She has also served as youth director in ministry for several years, and has a tremendous passion for helping youth both locally and internationally discover their kingdom purpose, and achieve success in all areas of their lives. Ms. Culpeper will be working on creating various programs at Hebron this year, such as a special education program, and a student health services department as well. She will also oversee the international student program, provide counseling services to students on all campuses, and work closely with students, parents and teachers to ensure their needs are being effectively met.
  • Harry Robertson: Academic Counselor
Mr. Robertson has served Hebron in various capacities throughout his career, and is currently our Academic counselor. He is passionate about providing academic advising to our students, and has been instrumental in working with all of our students in helping them discover their career path and achieve academic success.
  • DiAndrea Brown: ES/MS Counselor
Ms. Brown is originally from New York City. However, she has spent the last 8 years living in Lynchburg VA, where she attended Liberty University as an Undergraduate and Graduate student. Through her experiences, she has had the pleasure of working with many middle school students. During this time she was able to make some unique observations about middle school students. Primarily that they are in a stage where they are learning to make decisions, and any decisions they make concerning their actions and friends can have a profound impact on their lives. As a result, Ms. Brown believes it is her job to help equip them with the tools needed to succeed in the social, emotional, academic, and career aspects of life. With the help of parents and other school personnel, she is confident that this is something we can accomplish together.
