High School - Letter from the Principal

Welcome to Hebron Christian Academy! I am excited as high school principal to have the opportunity to serve the families of HCA this school year. The mission of Hebron Christian Academy is to help parents prepare their children spiritually, academically, physically, and socially to become disciples of Jesus Christ. That is why we exist – to partner with you to prepare students to be disciples of Christ. I believe that high school is a critical juncture where young people are establishing the foundation that will support them the rest of their life, and it is a pleasure to serve with our families to ensure that foundation is built properly.

So what do we do to construct that foundation? Spiritually we provide daily Bible class, a weekly Chapel program, as well as opportunities for service projects and missions trips throughout the year. Academically we begin with the foundation of a biblical worldview, then offer excellent opportunities through our Honors and Accelerated Honors courses, our Advanced Placement program, and our Dual Enrollment courses. Physically we have a competitive athletic program focusing on developing Christ-like student athletes that has won state championships in multiple sports over the past several years. Socially we provide a fine arts program, extracurricular activities, and clubs that can allow students to fully utilize the gifts that God has blessed them with.

How do we accomplish all of that? I would encourage you to come and see for yourself, to experience what God is doing through Hebron Christian Academy. I am excited to play a small role in this great community, and look forward to what God has in store for us this year.

In Christ,
Matthew Annett
